TANZANIA CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF THE
BLIND (TCAB)
The short report of TCAB activities in Tanzana from 1996 up to date Sth November
2022.
Our beloved friends from Sweden (SYSKONMBANDET) Members of sposor,
cOunseling and reconcillation Board of TCA8 National wise, TCAB leaders, our fellows
from Ingri kwa kiblalle Arusha Pastors, Head of Furaha Schill for the Blnd, to servants
and all attendance of this congragation, protocol is observed. PRAISE THE LORD.
The following is a short report about TCAB activties. This lis categorised in seven
parts, Namey; 1. Introduction 2. Objectives of the Assoclation 3.TCAB plans 4. Success
attained by the Association 5.Chalenges/problems facing TCAB 6. Requests and
recommendations 7. Condusion.
- INTRODUCTORY PARTY
Thanks to the Lord Jesus for his mercy and Goodness for us, He has protected us
since the Association was established up to date. Special thanks to our beloved friends
from Sweden for you good Heart of coming and hosting this congregation God bless
you al. Also we thank all members of TCAB Board all TCAB leaders, Pastors, Ingjili Kwa
Kibreli Arusha, al attendance of this congragation and all others who cooperated with
us in one way or another. May the Lord bless you all.
Tanzania Christian Association Of The Blind was established in 1996 at Tabora
Region as a Regional Association of the Blind Christians. By the year 2009 TCAB start to
expand it’s towards the other Regions following the General election which comprised
several contesters form the neighboring and far Regions held at Huima Center. TCAB
got full registration in the year 2015 February and now has 13 Regional branches, these
are Tabora, Mwanza, Singida, Manyara, arusha, Rukwa, Dodoma, iringa, Mbeya, Dar es
salaam, Tanga, Ruvuma and Morogoro. - OBJECTIVES OF THE ASSOCIATION
The following are some of the aims/objectives of TCAB:-
I To unity all Blind Christians in Tanzania.
. To assure that, everyone is reached by the Word of God.
L TCAB aimed at supporting all bilinds in social, economic, education and health
aspects regardless their condition, color, region, even tribe.
M. To educate the society about the incusion of the blind in social, political, and
economic activities.
- TCAB PLANS.
I TCAB planned to buy a plot and build the permanent National offce.
TCAB planned to spread the word of God through conducting seminas and
crusades,
TCAB planned to have full and permanent registration to ensure free TCAB
activities.
Iv. TCAB planned to create many pastors, Bishops, Singers and other Evangelists
and other Blind servants of God who will preach the gospel all over the country.
. TCAB planned at supporting the blinds in spiritual, social, economic, education
and health aspects
- SUCCESS ATTEINED BY ASSOCIATION.
Tanzania Christilan Association Of The Blind attained the following success:-
I TCAB is now full and permanent registered since 2015 February and No.SAW1708.
. TCAB has succeeded to write many Blind Christians as per 13 regional branches
Jlustrated in preliminary section of this report.
. TCAB SUcceeded to buy a plot in Tabora Municipal in order to bulld a permanent
office to run the TCAB activities.
iv. TCAB has highly implemented the brotherhood co-operation between TCAB and
the beloved friends in Sweden Christian Association Of The Blind
(SYSKONMBANDET) who are supportive factors for us including this
congragation.
The AssOciation has supported children with special needs from poor families
with school uniform.
vi. With cooperation between TCAB, SYSKONMBANDET and KABB SUcceeded to
support food during Covid 19 pandemic, four Regions where supported these
Regions are:- Tabora, Mwanza, Singida and Iringa.
wi. We have bought some furniture like, chairs, cupboard, table and one laptop
computer for offioe use.
vi. We have also bought one Microphone and one radio to facilitate the TCAB Gospel
Mission and Furaha Primary School Singers.
i. The TCAB has the temporary office in Furaha School of the Blind thanks for the
Head of the School Mr. Ibrahim Suleiman for his loving heart for us.
K TCAB has succeeded to conduct seminars and meetings of Word o God through
TCAB Gospel Mission.
M. TCAB has got many Pastors, Bishops, Evangelists, Singers and other Blind
servants of God who preach the Word of God.
- THE CHALLENGES FACING TCAB.
Despite the above attainment sucess, TCAB is facing the folowing challenges:
L Lack of fund to facilitate buliding our permanent office.
TCAB has no sources of income which will enable us to run TCAB activities,
Lack of music sound system and musical instrumental planos, and guitars for
doing evangelism.
iv. Shortage of some eletric Instrumentals like; printer and photocopy machine and
braillers to boost TCAB office activities.
v. Absence of a car which will enable us to reach easily to our regkonal branches
also in conducting seminars and meetings. - REQUESTS AND RECOMANDATIONS.
TCAB WOuld Bke to request or ask for assistance for the above chalenges as shown
below:-
L TCAB WOuld like to ask for finandal support in builiding the permanent office.
L Our beloved friends, TCAB suggests for the possibility of visiting each other. For
example, next time we can visit you for more learning privilege.
. TCAB WoUd like to ask for the means of transport/car which will enable us to
visit our branches and Administer Congragations and Gospel meetings in
different areas easily.
w. We ask for help to get some Instruments for office use such as Perkins brallers,
photocopy machine,.
We ask for support for music sound system and musical Instruments lke Pianos
and Guitars for Praise and Worship during congragatons and Gospel metings.
vi. Help us to meet with different sponsor who support Gospel so that to strengthen
in running Gospel activities.
- CONCLUSION.
Humbly, TCAB Would lke to convey thanks to al who left their activities in order to
join us in this special occasion. Speclal thanks to our beloved friends from Sweden
Christian Association For Blinds (SYSKONMBANDET) for planning the journey to vislt
TCAB may the Lord bless you all. Also spedial thenks to members of counseling and
reconclation board of TCAB at the National level, Pastors, the head of Furaha School
for the blinds and all attendance of this congragation for your tolerance and allowing us
to administer this congragation.
It is our hope that our goals, plans and challenges will be carried on to push the
Word Of God to meet the demand of Christianity in Tanzanla and the World at large.
